MERRIFIELD, Va. (CBSDC) — A woman was beaten, robbed and sexually assaulted early Friday morning in Merrifield.

Authorities say two men struck the woman with a blunt object and sexually assaulted a woman behind a building in the 2400 block of Gallows Road around 1:10 a.m.

The location is a short distance from the Dunn Loring Metro Station.

The suspects then robbed the 50-year-old victim before fleeing on foot.

Suspect descriptions were not immediately made available.
