TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police say a motorist has been injured by a gunshot fired from another car on a Temple Hills road.
Police say the victim was shot in the leg while driving on northbound Branch Avenue, near the ramp for Interstate 95, about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday. Cpl. Rodney Gause, a police spokesman, says the driver lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road.
The motorist was taken to a hospital with an injury that did not appear to be life-threatening. The person has not been identified.
Police say they have not established a motive for the shooting.
