WASHINGTON (AP) — Authorities say two men posed as Comcast workers to break into a home in northwest Washington over the weekend.
D.C. police say the men forced their way into a home in the 600 block of Harvard Street on Saturday afternoon after asking the homeowner if she wanted to participate in a survey. When the woman said no, the men pushed their way into the house and a brief struggle ensued.
Police say the homeowner was not harmed and nothing was taken.
The two men fled in a burgundy Suburban with a Maryland license plate, tag number 9AF-8655.
