Vienna Re-elects Incumbents, Including Mayor Jane Seeman

VIENNA, Va. (CBSDC) — Voters in Vienna have given incumbents another term.

Roughly five percent of the Northern Virginia town’s 11,218 active voters showed up to cast ballots at Tuesday’s scarcely publicized Mayoral and Town Council elections.

Laurie Cole, Edythe Kelleher, Mike Polychrones were re-elected to seats on the council while Jane Seeman was given another term as Mayor according tot he Vienna Patch. Seeman, who received the most votes of any candidate with 504, has served as Vienna’s mayor since 2000.

The polls closed at 5:30 p.m.

The new two-year term begins July 1.
