TYSONS CORNER, Va. (CBSDC) — Fairfax County Police are still on the hunt for a fugitive who managed to escape capture after being spotted in Tysons Corner over the weekend.
Todd Michael Corrado, 39, has a long list of warrants for his arrest for crimes including felony larceny, felony speed to elude, resisting arrest, assault on a police officer, DWI, burglary, auto theft and numerous drug charges.
Corrado was spotted browsing in the Barnes & Noble Bookstore inside Tysons Corner Mall on Saturday, April 28 around 12:30 p.m. A foot chase ensued that went through the mall to an upper level parking garage and ended near the loading docks near a service entrance at which point he was able to narrowly evade apprehension by officers.
He has escaped from police agencies across the area on multiple occasions over the past year.
Police say Corrado should be considered armed and dangerous.
Corrado is described as 5-foot-10 and weighs between 160 and 180 pounds with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. He is believed to frequent the Tysons Corner, Annandale and Alexandria areas of Fairfax County.
A reward is being offered for information that leads to his capture.
