CHICAGO (AP) — Former White House chief of staff William Daley, speaking at a Chicago public affairs breakfast, said the business sector thinks President Obama is “like Marx or something.” He also said Obama had few facts before ordering the attack that killed Osama bin Laden.
Daley, chief of staff after Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel resigned, said Wednesday bin Laden’s elimination was the “biggest moment of my life in a professional sense.”
Daley said Obama rolled the dice with the raid, contending no judge would issue a search warrant for bin Laden’s home based on the evidence gathered by intelligence agencies.
Daley, who quit the White House after a year, said the reaction to Obama by business people is like “he’s destroyed the world and the financial services industry as we know it.”
