Metro Train Derails Outside Rosslyn Station

WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — Officials say a single wheel set on a Metro train has derailed outside the Rosslyn Station. There were no reported injuries and all passengers were safely evacuated from the train.

A Metro spokesman says it happened about 7 p.m. Tuesday on the Blue Line traveling between Franconia and Springfield. Trains on the Oran and Blue Lines were single-tracking around the derailment. Metro officials say passengers should expect delays.
