WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Additional Secret Service officers are expected to lose their jobs Friday as the investigation into misconduct involving prostitutes in Colombia continues.
A federal official with knowledge of the case told the Associate Press at least three more people will have their employment terminated. An official announcement is expected later Friday.
11 Secret Service employees were placed on administrative leave last week when allegations regarding their behavior first became public.
None of the prostitutes involved in the case were underage. The youngest is believed to be 20-years-old.
The Secret Service members were part of President Barack Obama’s Advance Team and were arranging security for his visit to the country.
