PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Flyers are hoping to be healthier when they take the ice for game one of their playoff series in Pittsburgh.
Danny Briere was back at practice Monday, and while he wasn’t allowed to discuss his status for the Flyers playoff opener in Pittsburgh Wednesday, he did say he is eager to get back on the ice for the post-season. “There’s no doubt. It’s the best time of the year. There’s nothing like playoff hockey. It’s kind of the time we’re all waiting for,” he said.
Defenseman Nicklas Grossman was also back at practice, and he said he will play against the Penguins on Wednesday.
