ARLINGTON, Va. (CBSDC) — The Washington Capitals will open their fifth-straight playoff appearance on Thursday against the Boston Bruins.
The two teams meet again on Saturday before the best of seven series heads to DC for games on April 16 and 19.
Games five through seven will be played at alternating venues, if necessary, beginning in Boston.
For the second year in a row, the Caps might have to play back-to-back games in the playoffs. The full seven game schedule is below.
Game 1: April 12th in Boston at 7:30 PM
Game 2: April 14th in Boston at 3:00 PM
Game 3:April 16th in Washington at 7:30 PM
Game 4: April 19th in Washington at 7:30 PM
Game 5: April 21st in Boston at 3:00 PM *
Game 6: April 22nd in Washington TBD *
Game 7: April 25th in Boston TBD *
