ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio joined the Junkies on Friday and sided with Robert Griffin III’s decision not to workout for Jim Irsay and the Indianapolis Colts.
On Tuesday, it was reported that RG3 declined an audition with the Colts that prompted immediate speculation that the Baylor star prefers to play in Washington, which traded up for the second overall choice, rather than succeed Peyton Manning in Indy.
“I think it makes a lot of sense to not want to go to the Colts,” Florio said. “Especially when you consider being the number one pick doesn’t mean what it used to. There isn’t a huge financial difference between number one and number two.”
“If the guy doesn’t want to play for the Colts, he doesn’t have to play for the Colts.”
Florio also shared his opinion on “Bounty-Gate” and Morris Claiborne’s awful Wonderlic score.
