WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — D.C. United rookie midfielder Lance Rozeboom has undergone surgery to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
General Manager Dave Kasper said Friday he expects Rozeboom to “make a full recovery by the end of this year.”
Rozeboom was injured in a practice in Los Angeles after United’s game against the Galaxy on March 18.
Rozeboom was selected in the second round of this year’s MLS supplemental draft.
The United next host Seattle Sounders FC Saturday at RFK Stadium.
