LANHAM, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police say the death of a Greenbelt man has been ruled a homicide and two suspects are being held on assault charges.

Police say 26-year-old Teddy Kaikai Marchant and 36-year-old Alhaji Abu Bakarr are being held in connection with the killing of Aiah Nyanga Tongu.

Authorities say the three men were involved in a fight on March 18. Thirty-four-year-old Tongu died later that day at a hospital.

The medical examiner’s office told police Wednesday that Tongu’s death had been ruled a homicide.
