RICHMOND, Va. (CBSDC) – Virginia regulators would like the opinion of the general public on Dominion Power’s plan to build new electric transmission lines in Loudoun County.
The State Corporation Commission says it plans to host public hearings in Leesburg and Richmond on the proposal in the near future.
Dominion would like to build an 11.2-mile, 230-kilovolt overhead transmission line in Loudoun County, as well as an additional 1.5-mile overhead line to a new substation.
The two Leesburg hearings are set for June 4 and the Richmond hearing is scheduled for Aug. 15 of this year.
