Bomb Threat At Annandale High Proves Negative, Bus Schedules Resume To Normal

ANNANDALE, Va. (CBSDC) - Fairfax County Police say the bomb threat at Annandale High School has been cleared.
The threat was called in to Annandale High School at around 4 a.m. and that’s when the sweep for the possible explosive device started, officials said.

Students were held on buses and not dropped off while robots proceeded to investigate the suspicious items found in front of the school. Fairfax County public schools recommended that parents get their kids to school on their own if their buses hadn’t arrived.
There domino effect caused bus delays for the following schools:
- Annandale Terrace
- Bren Mar Park
- North Springfield
- Beech Tree
- Canterbury Woods
- Little Run
- Pine Spring
- Sleepy Hollow
Fairfax Police say that students and staff are now able to have full use of Annandale High School and that buses were resuming their routes.
