SILVER SPRING, Md. (CBSDC) — Montgomery County Police pulled over Batman on Wednesday.

Yes, you read that right.

Police stopped the ‘Batmobile’ driven by a man dressed as the Caped Crusader on Wednesday because his vehicle didn’t have any tags on the back — only the Batman emblem.

Indeed, it was quite the sight for officers and onlookers who were driving southbound on Route 29 near Prelude Drive.

After verifying that the man owned the vehicle police let him off with just a warning so that he could go do good in the community. As it turns out, the super hero was on his way to visit sick children in a local hospital.

If I didn’t have a back tag I would have been locked up. Dressed like cat woman or not.

T – Maybe because you would be on your way to smoke crack, while this guy was on his way to brighten the day for sick kids. Big difference.

Or he was on his way to engage in creepy behavior with children while hiding his identity.

The Batmobile don’t need no stinkin’ tags!

They actually weren’t cops, they were clone troopers. They were on their way to arrest some kid claiming to be a Jedi Knight.
