Arlington Man Bites Off Friend’s Finger During Fight

ARLINGTON,Va. (CBSDC/AP) — Authorities say a man bit off the finger of his friend during a drunken fight in the parking lot of an Arlington bar.
The Washington Post is reporting that the trouble began on St. Patrick’s Day when the three men arrived at a bar. Around 2 a.m. the men proceeded to the parking lot and continued drinking in the van in which they arrived.
A fist fight broke out, according to Arlington County Police, when the men began to argue about their girlfriends and wives. The victim stepped out of the van as the attackers followed him during the scuffle it ended with one of the men biting off the victim’s right index finger from the knuckle.
Police say the severed finger was found in the parking lot, but that doctors said it could not be reattached.
Rudy Sales Perez,21, and Jose Lopez Sales, 23, were charged with malicious wounding.
