FORESTVILLE, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police say they have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old Suitland man in January.
Authorities say 27-year-old Jonathan Blades of Gaithersburg has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of Darryl Nicholas McCoy. Police say Blades was arrested Monday in the 2900 block of St. Clair Drive in Temple Hills.
McCoy was found lying near the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 2000 block of Brooks Drive in Forestville shortly after 2 p.m. on Jan. 5. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
