WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins added to their free agent wide receiver bounty by reaching an agreement with Josh Morgan on Tuesday.
Morgan agreed to a five-year, $12 million deal with $7.5 million guaranteed according to PFT. The deal could be voided after two season according to multiple reports.
Morgan is coming off an injury shortened season, having broken his ankle in Week 5. Through five games he recorded 15 catches for 220 yards and a touchdown.
Like Royal, Morgan also has ties to the DC area. He played college ball at Virginia Tech after a highly touted high school career at H.D. Woodson.
In addition, the Redskins re-signed defensive end Adam Carriker.
