Missing 5-Month-Old Found In Carjacked Vehicle And Returned To Family

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – D.C. Police are looking for a suspect who stole an SUV in SE Washington that was carrying a child inside.

Police say the carjacking occurred just before 8 o’clock Tuesday morning in the 3800 block of Suitland Road SE. A 5-month-old boy was still inside the white, 2007 Acura MDX SUV with Oklahoma tags when the vehicle was stolen.

Police did find the vehicle in the 4200 block of Rail Street in Prince George’s County, 9 News Now reports, about 40 minutes after tweeting that they were looking for the carjacker. Police say the child was found inside and appeared to be unharmed, and has since been returned to his family.

    This is becoming a serious matter in the city, I was victim of a carjacking back in November and it looks that they are still out there. Be careful acura owners those are the favorite ones for carjacking.
