BRISTOW, Va. (CBSDC) — Police in Prince William County are investigating the death of a 3-month-old girl at a suspected unlicensed day care center operating out of a residence in Bristow.

Authorities responded to the 13200 block of Sapphire Ridge Place around 12:42 p.m. for a report of an unresponsive and unconscious infant girl.

The girl was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.  A preliminary investigation yielded no indication of foul play.

The investigation is ongoing and police will provide further updates on Friday.
