ROCKVILLE, Md. (CBSDC) — An auto parts store in Rockville was robbed for the second time in four months early Wednesday morning.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division say the latest armed robbery occurred around 7 a.m. at the Advanced Auto Parts store located at 15136A Frederick Road.

Two people, a man and a woman, entered the store shortly after it opened and threatened a store manager and another employee with a gun. The suspects tied up the manager and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Wednesday’s robbery has many of the earmarks he first robbery where a suspect also tied up the employee and took cash from the store.

Witnesses describe the first suspect as a black male in his 30’s, standing roughly 5-feet-9 and wearing all black clothing.

The second suspect is described as a black female in her 20’s also wearing all black clothing.

Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
