WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - Metro would like to remind you it will continue efforts to rebuild the rail system over the weekend, as part of an ongoing six-year, $5 billion Capital Improvement Program that is focused on safety and bringing the Metro system into a state of good repair.

The work will begin at 10 p.m. Friday, March 2, and continue through system closing on Sunday, March 4.

Weekend repairs will cause frequent delays and partial closings. Below is a Line-by-Line breakdown of the maintenance itinerary – includes some closings – so be sure to consult it before you leave the house.
