SILVER SPRING, Md. (CBSDC) — Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify a pair of suspects in a residential burglary that occurred in Silver Spring in late January.
Around 12:18 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 1800 block of Snowdrop Lane after the homeowner returned to the property and discovered that a burglary had taken place.
The suspects, a man and a woman, stole property and a credit card from the home.
Detectives were able to obtain video surveillance (posted below) of the suspects using the card at a Silver Spring business shortly after the robbery occurred.
Police believe they may be responsible for up to 13 burglaries between the Georgia Ave. and New Hampshire Ave. corridors in the upper portion of the county.
The rash of robberies appear to have targeted people of Asian and Indian descent and jewelry.
