VIENNA, Va. (CBSDC) — Employees of a Vienna lingerie store “dedicated to the art of romance” got into an altercation with a customer Friday afternoon, prompting a phone call to police.
The melee began when the customer and an employee began arguing over a brassiere at the Trousseau store located at 306 Maple Avenue West.
A manager tried to intervene but was assaulted by the customer, NBC4 reports.
Vienna Police were able to locate the female suspect nearby.
Although the woman was banned from the store, the manager did not press criminal charges.
The owner of the store told All News 99.1 WNEW that he believed the woman was having “other problems” at the time of the incident. He added police have only been called to the store twice in its 12-year existence.
