PIKESVILLE, Md. (CBSDC/AP) — Baltimore County police have charged 33-year-old Jacqueline Natalie Smith with stabbing her teen son in the leg during an argument.
Officers called to a Pikesville apartment around 5 a.m. Wednesday heard a loud argument inside and found the 15-year-old boy with a stab wound to his upper leg.
Police say the mother and teen were arguing and she stabbed him in the leg. The mother has been charged with assault, child abuse and resisting arrest. She’s being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $150,000 bail.
The teen was taken to an area hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
