Court Documents Outline Meetings Between Amine El Khalifi And Undercover Agents

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Court documents filed against suspected U.S. Capitol terror suspect Amine El Khalifi have surfaced.

The criminal complaint, which WNEW has made available for download, outlines a series of meetings between El Khalifi and undercover FBI agents whom he believed to be members of al-Qaeda.

The entire undercover operation spanned nearly a year, but ratcheted up last December when the meetings began.

The document charges “El Khalifi knowingly and unlawfully attempted to use a weapon of mass destruction against property that is owned and used by the United States or by an department or agency of the United States.”
