The dispute apparently escalated at which point the victim said Johnson pulled a rifle from the back seat of his car and held it as if he were going to shoot at the victim.

Johnson fled the area when he noticed the victim on his cell phone.

The victim was able to provide police with a description of the suspect’s vehicle and the license plate number.

Police identified the suspect and executed a search warrant the red Honda he was driving. Inside the vehicle, police recovered the rifle they believe was used in the incident along with other evidence.

Police arrested Johnson on February 14 and charged him with 1st and 2nd degree assault. He was later released on bond.
