WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Gas prices are on the rise again and locally D.C. is feeling the pinch the most.
Currently, the average cost of a gallon of gas in the district is $3.77, nearly 30 cents above the national average of $3.48 as tracked by GasBuddy.com.
Maryland is also above the national median with a statewide average of $3.59 per a gallon.
Virginia has the cheapest gas in the region according to the gas tracking website. A gallon of gas will set you back an average of $3.50 in the Commonwealth.
Comparatively, Wyoming’s $2.99 average price per gallon is the lowest in the nation.
