RESTON, Va. (CBSDC/AP) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is making another appearance in Northern Virginia.
Romney is scheduled to speak at a breakfast Friday in Reston sponsored by the Northern Virginia Technology Council, a prominent business group in the region.
The technology council is sponsoring a multiple appearances by presidential candidates dubbed, the Presidential Series, and hosted then-contender Herman Cain in November.
Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell is scheduled to speak before Romney, giving updates about initiatives supporting economic growth, innovation and entrepreneurship in the Commonwealth.
Virginia’s presidential primary is March 6. Two of Romney’s main opponents for the nomination — Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich — failed to qualify to appear on the ballot.
