RIVERDALE, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police say they are investigating the shooting of a man outside a home in the Riverdale area.
Cpl. Mike Rodriguez, a police spokesman, says officers were called to the 6400 block of 61st Place about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a shooting. Arriving officers found the man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Rodriguez says homicide detectives believe the man was sitting on his front porch when he was approached by two men, at least one of whom shot the victim.
