Man Shot In DC, Runs To School For Help

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — A man was shot outside of an apartment complex on Livingston Terrace in Southeast around 10:20 a.m. on Monday.

The victim was able to run to Patricia Roberts Harris Educational Center, which is a few blocks away from where the shooting allegedly occurred. Once at the educational center he informed a guard he had been shot.

Authorities say the victim was conscious and breathing when they arrived. He was transported to an area hospital.

The educational center was briefly locked down while Metropolitan Police investigated.

An update on the victim’s status was not available as of Monday evening.

Police describe the suspects as two African American males dressed in all black.
