WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. police say two people were killed and three people were injured, including two police officers, when a minivan collided with a police cruiser following a pursuit.
The crash occurred around 3:30 Sunday morning in Washington. Police say the minivan had three people inside, all of whom were ejected from the vehicle. Two adults were killed and a juvenile passenger was injured.
Police say the officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were responding to a report of shots fired when they collided with the minivan, which was being pursued by other police vehicles.
