VIENNA, VA (CBSDC) — Police are investigating whether a real life fight club made up of children as young as 11-years-old is being run in Northern Virginia.
A Vienna police officer stumbled across the pint-sized sluggers while searching for a missing youth earlier in the month.
The officer said he approached a group of about 20 kids between the ages of 11 and 13 who were gathered in a parking lot. Two of the youngsters were fighting while the rest of the group stood and watched.
One of the children involved told police they were involved in a fight club according to WUSA.
Officials say it’s unclear whether the incident is part of a trend.
