On Friday’s “Mike Wise Show with Holden Kushner,” former NFL player and current New York Giants analyst Roman Oben, and CBSSports.com/CSN Bay Area columnist Ray Ratto both joined the show to preview Sunday’s NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants.

Oben, who won a Super Bowl while playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is a graduate of Gonzaga High School in D.C., spoke very highly of current Giants head coach Tom Coughlin.

Ratto, who has covered sports in the San Francisco area for his entire career, says no one foresaw the 49ers and QB Alex Smith having this kind of season.
