Driver Traveling Wrong Way On Road Killed

CROFTON, Md. (AP) — Anne Arundel County Police say a woman was killed when she drove the wrong way on Route 3 in Crofton.

It happened about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officers say 35-year-old Angela Biggins of Gaithersburg was traveling north in the southbound lanes of Route 3.

Her car struck another vehicle driven by 18-year-old Garrett Rosario Grill of Crofton. Grill’s car traveled into a ditch; he was not injured.

Biggins’ car rotated and stopped in the road. She was taken to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center, where she died.

The crash is under investigation.
