UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County prosecutors say a Largo man has been sentenced to life in prison in a stabbing death four years ago.

Forty-nine-year-old Troy Nash was sentenced in circuit court on Thursday. He was convicted in the 53-year-old stabbing of Vanessa Riddick in August 2007. Riddick was found slain in her Largo apartment.

County State’s Attorney Angela Alsobrooks says authorities had DNA evidence that linked Nash to the slaying.
