Brooks Laich joined “The Sports Junkies” after the Caps 5-2 loss at home to the Dallas Stars and commented on coach Bruce Boudreau’s analysis that the team is lacking a sense of urgency on the ice.
However, Laich disagreed with the coach’s criticism.
“I don’t know if I totally agree that there’s no urgency, just sometimes it’s not a consistent urgency. Any urgency has to be on both sides of the puck. I don’t think we have that right now,” Laich said on the show.
Capitals have dropped their last two games against the Dallas Stars and New York Islanders. They have let up five goals in each loss.
