Redskins Wednesday Open Locker Room

The Redskins held an open locker room this morning with a few new additions as they prepare for the Buffalo Bills on Sunday and an opportunity to snap their two game losing streak.

Yesterday the Redskins put Tim Hightower & Chris Cooley on the injured reserve list.

Today they signed TE Dominique Byrd (6-3, 255, 3rd round selection of the St. Louis Rams in 2006 out of USC) and  OL Jonathan Compas (6-3, 300, free agent signing by the Oakland Raiders in 2009 out of UC Davis) to their 53 man roster.  They also signed RB Tristan Davis (5-10, 212, free agent signing by the Detroit Lions in 2009 out of Auburn) to the practice squad.  Both Byrd and Compas have played in regular season NFL games.
