“The Sports Junkies” started to preview the Redskins/Eagles matchup for Sunday’s game and even though their records are opposite, the show was divided on who will win.
Lurch questioned Washington’s ability to put points up on the board if the game became a shootout.
“I think the Skins are going to have to keep up with them and I don’t think they can.”
To counter, EB thinks that with the recent success of Ryan Torain, Redskins can rush all over Philadelphia, who has one of the worst run defenses in the NFL.
Also, EB points out that the Redskins are averaging around 21 points per game even with red zone struggles that result in field goals instead of touchdowns. Eagles average around 27 points per game and EB argues that even with red zone woes, they are only averaging six points less.
