PTI pundit Bomani Jones joined “The Sports Junkies” on 106.7 The Fan and offered his opinion on NFL storylines as week three approaches.
As the Skins big Monday Night Football game against Dallas approaches, he offered a humbling outsider’s view on Rex Grossman leading Washington to a hot 2-0 start. His point…Don’t let Rex Grossman fool you.
“The problem with Rex Grossman is that he’s not good or talented, he’s always been talented. He’s a first-round pick for a reason. When he’s good, he’s very very good. The problem with Rex Grossman is all that other stuff. And he’s still doing all that other stuff,” Jones said. “People just don’t wake up and become brand new,” he added.
Fans and reporters are impressed with how Grossman and the Redskins have played thus far but seems like outsiders are still not buying the new-look Skins. Neither is Vegas. Cowboys are favored by six.
