After the Redskins 28-14 opening day win against the Giants, beat reporter Grant Paulsen joined “The Sports Junkies” and analyzed how efficient the Skins were on offense.

“The other story here should be guys, that Kyle Shanahan’s offense works.  There were receivers open all day.  It’s not a coincidence that  this is the same offense, with better personnel, that was number one in the National Football League in passing yards in Houston, and last year with a quarterback he benched twice and really one wide receiver with any NFL credentials, the Redskins set records in their franchise for completions and attempts.   Kyle Shanahan’s passing scheme is legit.”

Rex Grossman finished with 302 yards passing and 2 touchdowns through the air.
