Washington Nationals phenom pitcher Stephen Strasburg is slated to make his first major league start of the season next Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Strasburg is best remembered for setting the National’s record for strikeouts in a game when he managed to fan 14 Pittsburgh Pirates in his major league debut last June.

After sustaining a ligament injury in his elbow last year, Strasburg underwent season ending Tommy John surgery in order to properly repair that golden arm of his.

Now that he is back, his velocity seems to be where it was before and some claim he is better.

Washington Post writer John Feinstein joined Danny Rouhier on The Mike Wise show with Holden Kushner today to talk about Strasburg’s much anticipated debut.
