Major League Soccer today announced the postponed match between D.C. United and the Portland Timbers, originally scheduled for Saturday, August 27th, has been set for Wednesday, October 19th.

The match will kickoff at 8:00 PM ET at RFK Stadium. Tickets from the original contest, bearing the date of August 27th, will be valid on October 19th.

The match was postponed due to Hurricane Irene impacting the DC area over the weekend.
