The Redskins had their final full practice today as they prepare for their second preseason game and first road preseason game as they head to Indianapolis to face the Colts on Friday.
Brandon Banks, Kareem Moore, LaRon Landry, Ryan Torain, Chris Cooley, Malcolm Kelly and OJ Atogwe all likely out for Friday. Mike Shanahan says 95% chance London Fletcher & Josh Wilson will also miss Friday’s game with soreness and not practicing.
Banks’ left knee is still sore and he is getting it looked at by Dr. James Andrews today. Kareem Moore is sick and wasn’t at practice today, Shanahan said he is improving, but will stay on PUP until fully healthy and not be rushed back. Landry is expected to practice Sunday and could play next Thursday in Baltimore. Torain has been cleared and should be able to practice next week with a target to play in the last preseason game. No update on Cooley, Kelly or Atogwe.
Listen here to what Mike Shanahan, Kyle Shanahan & Jim Haslett had to say about the preseason so far, what they expect to see on Friday, what they saw in the first preseason game, the injury situation and how the rookies have looked.
