Washington Redskins beat reporter Grant Paulsen joins the Junkies to give his assessment of the team’s depth chart released to the public today. With this in hand, Paulsen sees wide receiver Malcolm Kelly on the hot seat.
Kelly recently went down with an injury already into training camp, after being placed on Injured Reserve last year. The roster is trimmed to 75 after the third preseason game and final cuts are Sept. 3rd.
Still, if Kelly is released, he has high potential to land on his feet with another team.
“I also think he will be one of the first guys scooped up by another team because 6′ 4″ wide receivers with hands, who can out leap people, with good speed, have as many lives in football as left-handed pitchers who throw hard in baseball.”
