Bryce Harper and the Harrisburg Senators (63-51) again took on the Erie Seawolves (55-58) on Saturday night. Harper played arguably one of his best games since being promoted to Harrisburg. He went 3-for-5 with a home run, a triple, 3 RBI, and a run scored – he also added a stolen base.
Harrisburg came out of the gate hot and put up three in the 1st, 2 in the 3rd and 2 in the 5th to take a 7-0 lead. Erie would come back with four runs in the 6th, but ultimately Harrisburg was too much and won the game 10-6.
Harper batted fifth and started in left field, the monster night improved his batting average to .260 on this season. Harper and Harrisburg finish their series against Erie at 1:05 pm on Sunday
