Bryce Harper and the Harrisburg Senators (62-51) visited the Erie Seawolves (55-57). Harper went 1-for-4 with a run and a strikeout in Harrisburg’s 5-1 loss at Erie.

Harrisburg was undone by their pitching, as starter Tanner Roark gave up 5 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings for Harrisburg.  Carlos Martinez came in a long relief situation and didn’t allow a run over his 3 and 1/3 innings.

Harper started in Left Field and batted fifth in the Harrisburg lineup.  With the single Harper maintained his .242 average at Harrisburg.

Harrisburg and Erie play game two of their series at 7:05 pm on Saturday.
