On today’s show, the Junkies had a lively discussion about the Redskins free agency options and what areas needed to be addressed this upcoming offseason.

This evolved into the biggest area of upgrade should be the quarterback, where unproven John Beck is slated to be the starter for the Redskins.  The argument is that Beck is unproven and can’t be an upgrade over Donovan McNabb because of his lack of experience and has been given up on by the Dolphins and Ravens.

The counter is that he needs a shot to show what he has and fans should be willing to take the chance on him, and that is a better option than picking up a free agent or re-signing McNabb.

Lurch seems committed to improving the running game, saying Ryan Torain is a good spell half back, but would like to see the Redskins target someone proven like DeAngelo Williams.

Put on your GM hat and listen to the discussion below.
