The Washington Capitals held their second scrimmage of Prospect Development Camp on Thursday with Group A taking the game by a score of 4-3 in a shootout. Garrett Mitchell made a big impact for group A, scoring a goal and getting into a fight during regulation and adding the lone shootout goal to win it. Travis Boyd continued his impressive camp, scoring two goals and adding an assist on Reid Edmonson’s goal. The 17 year old now has five points in the two scrimmages. Danick Paquette also impressed with a goal and a fight of his own, but caught a fellow player up high with an elbow in the first period. He later compared himself to Matt Cooke, laughing with reporters while saying it. Check out the videos below.
